Aviation Medical Examination Services Offered

Class III Medical – This is an exclusive medical certificate that applies for the holders of an Air Traffic Control Licence (ATCO) and to Flight Service Officers (FSO). The medical certificate is valid for 2 years.

Class II Medical – This is the preliminary medical license required by all aspiring pilots. It is mandatory before applying for a class 1 medical license. To apply for a class II medical, it is mandatory for candidates to complete initial checkups like colour-blindness test, BMI test and a general health checkup. After this, candidates will be required to get a thorough health checkup, where various laboratory tests and clinical eye and ear checkups are performed. Class II Medical laboratory tests may include a blood test, urine (RE/ME) test, ECG, Pure tone Audiometry, USG (lower abdomen) and a complete chest X-Ray.

Documents To Be Submitted For Aviation Medical Examination

  • Candidates need to bring along 2 passport-size Photographs
  • Detailed and complete documents related to the previous health certificate
  • Government ID proof for the proof of identity (passport is recommended)
  • Fasting for a certain interval on the examination day
